Delta Fair: A little sneak peek...

We are so excited to go to the Delta Fair this Saturday to see how we did this year. Between my mom, my daughter and I; we entered a lot of categories from photography to crafts, knitting, sewing, cooking and more!

Here are just a few items that will be on display out at the Agricenter starting this Friday! We have many more things out there, just look for our names.

Sara and I came up with a great idea (thanks to the www) to use puzzle pieces to make our Christmas crafts. I think they turned out very cute!

Sara's paper bag puppet:
My purse entry, I just love it and can't wait to start using it! I read every Tuesday to my daughter's second grade class and now I will have a great bag to carry my books in.

I love the fabric combination I picked and the "On the Go" ladies all over the tote. I love using mix and match fabrics, it really makes my totes look vintage and very custom. I never use patterns I just sketch out ideas and of course get inspiration from the world wide web and start cutting fabric. Drives my mom nuts because I just pull it out of my head and start sewing and my ideas change all the time sometimes in the middle of sewing.

Sara's decorated cupcakes are just way too cute and in my book a blue ribbon winner!

Here are the photographs I entered:

If you happen to venture to the Delta Fair over the next week be sure and check out Wing D that is where all the creative, craft , artsy, culinary midsoutherners have their hard work on display!
