Meet my sweet graduate on his special day

I just love this photo, it is amazing to me by just changing a color photo to B&W and putting a black border around the image can make such a dramatic difference.  The original image is further down in my blog post.

Yesterday was the big day. My sweet baby boy graduated from preschool.  He is my last, there are no more babies to come, so it was even more emotional than when my daughter graduated from kindergarten.  How did they grow up so fast.  It seems just like yesterday that I was carrying him around at 2am while he was crying with colic.  He still looks like a baby to me.  My 8 year old daughter lost her baby look at 13 months but not my little boy he didn't start looking like a little boy and not a baby until he was about 3.  Somethings even now the way he turns his head or looks at me a still get that glimpse of my little baby boy.

I told him Friday night after his graduation that I will always call him my baby.  On his graduation day from high school, his wedding day and even when he is 40 years old, he will always be my baby.  He smiled and said that was fine with him and he gave me a big hug~

My two handsome men.

I'm sure most mommy's would have dresses there little graduates in maybe slacks and a sweater vest with dress shoes.  Not me, see this is WHO he is.  He is known for those cowboy boots. lol  We get stopped everywhere we go because he never leaves the house without them, and he totally rocks them.  Most days at school he is in shorts and boots and I wanted his graduation day to be no different.  Both of my children has their own sense of style, they don't dress like the other kids and they are both trend setter in their own little way.

This is who he is and he totally owns it.
Oh, and I made the shorts! ;-)

Big sister and little brother.

Walking down the aisle:
Yep this is when I started crying, all I could think of was; that in a very short time he will be walking down to receive his high school diploma.  I need to treasure ever minute with this little guy.  They all grow so fast.
He looks so little.....

They had 30+ graduates this year.

Love this picture of him so much, not posed or looking at the camera.
You can tell he is in the moment, enjoying his graduation.

Getting his diploma from his wonderful teacher.  She has been such a huge blessing to us; kind, caring and has worked so hard with each child getting them ready for kindergarten.

Signing "I Love you"  Be still my heart.........

All finished and has his diploma

All the graduates were ask to make a poster for the reception.  I love crafting and I wanted all the pictures to define who he is:  Click on the picture to make bigger.

This is a close up of the center of his poster:  All the things that make up who he is~

Two best buddies being silly for the camera.

 Joshua and his teacher
